Why didn't you just post the links instead of putting them in the "code"? Anyway, I think the second template is much better then the first. The first needs more too it, it looks really empty right now.
The first one: -The background should be predominantly white with touches of green instead of the way it is now. -Any text that isn't a title or a link shouldn't be bolded. -Dummy text should always be used to show content (http://www.lipsum.com) -Again, with any text that isn't a title, you should change the settings from crisp to none. A perfect size for it would be 12 on the font Arial. The second one is complete crap in all honesty. It's extremely flat. Boxes that represent pictures really make your template look low-grade.
you should really work on the coloring of them as they seem a bit random to me, also add some pics to it as they are really empty at the moment and use the dummy text which poo mentioned.
Thanks a lot guys! I will try all those techniques.. Lets see what I get, see I haven't really learned properly how to do templates. I am still trying to make a good one yet.. Lets see if something works out!
