reminds me of veoh and alluc for some reason.

 

i think the 2nd one is missing something, dont really know - just feel like something is missing

and yeah i know what you mean, the second does feel empty

 

Not bad, good for a games site i personall think.. Have you scripted it aswell or just built it around somebody else's script?

 

I guess it would be built for phpas but customized, so the stats would be on the players page and etc. Its not coded or anything

Your mock ups are awesome,
but the websites aren't really exciting. They're pretty boring infact.

Its like you're trying to play it safe and just get the content on the page.

Take risks

On the gaming one, use more icons. for example, check out Miniclip and Pogo.

If you got "cards" as a link on the navigation. Put a bunch of playing cards next to the word "cards".
If you got "sports" as a link on the navigation. Put a soccer ball next to the word "sports".

The video sharing one needs more content.


EDIT: Both of them need more colours. Especially the gaming one.

I know what you mean Acrima, I saw a layout with an icon for each category. I wanted to do that, I only have the puzzle vector complete, I was looking for other references to vector for the other categories

 

i like it very clean n simple

 

the E on the green bar at the first template doesnt look really readable... rest looks clean and empty and a bit stolen from myspacetv but its still ok
