I do not like the second one at all. It just looks strange and nothing is really fitting, there is no flow depth or lighting. But the first one is good. I do not know what you did to the second one bro. Just be sure that you do not make that oval lighting above the render that obvious, then it always looks like just thrown in.
First one is good, cool effects with no C4D, but it's a bit boring. Try adding colors. Second one is weird, don't what kind of style you had going for it.
Thanks for the comments guys, haha ill agree with the second one being a little bit of a weird style.. i was having a lot of trouble with it and eventually it ended up looking like that, i knew it wasnt the best whenever i put it up there was just somethin i liked about the way it looked. I changed the first one a bit..a little different colors and some pretty minor effects around him.
