I know tutorial of the week wasn't the most popular weekly competition, but I would love to see another time-based competition dealing with tutorials. I ask that your reinstate it, this time giving users a month to complete or enter a tutorial, rather than a week. I know that I spend anywhere from 10-30 hours, even more, writing my tutorials, and a week makes that difficult.

If considered, I have some ideas that may or may not add to it's activeness. The first one being, to remove themes until it gains heavier traffic, or to keep the themes simple, like large piece, small piece, or wallpaper. I remember the final theme of tutorial of the week being Set Render. I toyed for quite a while with that one, wrote half a tutorial while creating the piece, then decided I didn't like the render, nor any of the others for that matter.

I would really love to see this put forth, as it would give me more incentive to write tutorials, giving me a time limit usually let's me get my tutorials done faster, rather than spending hours half-writing or procrastinating.

Please give it a trial period?

Then make a rule that people cannot post tutorials already posted on gamerenders. It was also during a period of GR when not many people were coming online, mostly due to school starting, as well as the heavy latency GR had. I think it would do better this time.
