I would ask the maker of it if you could get the psd, or if he has a tutorial for it.

I would say that used the pen tool for about 98% of it.

oh jeez. its jesar. ok. whole different story. he's unbelievable. i wont bother.

but yeah. just ask. most of those incredible artists are really nice people.

haha. im proud to say that i have talked to videa. he's really nice.

but if you want my guess its:

    rendered text in C4D
    smudged text
    added lensflares
    added pen tool stuff
    smudged pen tooling
brushed lightly to get some glow-y-ness

That's -----. If you're asking how to do it, you most likely can't =P
Either way, it's text transforming, clipping, duplicating+gradient, and painting.

^That pretty much sums it up, I could make a mini tutorial on how to do the text in photoshop, but if your fairly new to the program it would take to long for me to explain it all.

I actually think it's too cartoony and pixely to have been done in C4D.you could do something very similar in C4D but the lighting and stuff wouldn't look like that.I suppose you could use a C4D model as a vector bases for photoshop or Illustrator though.

Alright, I'll make a tutorial on the text, but you should know he could've used illustrator for most of the work(i wouldn't be suprised with how smooth the results are.

EDIT:Pmed u the tutorial and psd, also there is an extra technique tutorial in there.

its c4d imo, I dunno wether its a text or if he made the text with the pentool and uploaded it in c4d. But you can see the extrude stuff and the beveled stuff

the stuff on the front of the text was made in photoshop, made into a c4d material. There is a tutorial on how to do the photoshop part and make it a material. Its for 3Ds Max though but it can be applied for c4d with no problem
