OK, here's the deal. I have been trying unsuccessfully to save my effects in C4D. I create some fantastic looking C4D abstracts, and stretch them out into an extremely nice effect. I've tried alot of different settings in my render settings....but when I render to viewer, it does nothing but save my original abstract instead of the stretched out C4D effect that I create. Can anyone give me some pointers on how to save the nice effects that I create? Much appreciated....thank you. -_-
I create a render using various splines, nurbs, and materials. Then I right click my zoom out, and zoom out, and then left click my zoom in, to make the render pieces kind of stretch......to make them look as though they are exploding towards the screen. Once that is done, I adjust my render settings, and render to picture viewer. But it ends up saving it as my original render (before being stretched). So instead of getting a nice effect, I get my original abstract render instead. Basically, instead of getting this..... I get this....
check your views your probly rendering wit frotn view and not perspective. thats what it sounds like to me.

hmm show me an actualy screen shot in c4d. because thast what i think ur problem is and still is. u need 2 set ur actualy view point 2 perspective so it renders in perspective and not front or w/e
Actually I just figured it out on my own. For anyone else that reads this, that might encounter the same problem....this is what I did to correct it. Under the edit dropdown above your actual C4D perspective screen, there is an option that says "Use as Render View". Click this, and it will save anything that you create in the perspective or any other view that you see before you, instead of just letting you view your creation, and saving it "AS IS". Took me a while, but I figured it out. I appreciate everyone's help in this little matter. Here's a quicky that I made just to figure it out. Look for my C4D effects pack coming soon!!
Ahhh.....but I already had my view set to perspective. It was just a render setting that needed to be adjusted to make the render come out as perspective also.
But as a tip, turn on anti-aliasing. That render would be awesome, but right now it looks low quality and nub.
