Transparet Backgrounds

Ok I made this hot sig

but i need to know how to make a transparet background, can some either point me to a tut, of it is easy just tell me, please.

 

Delete the background layer. Or any layer that doesn't contain what you want to have. When you see a checkerboard background on the actual picture in Photoshop, it means you have transparency.

Also, save as .png or .gif.

 

dont save it with a black background and then save it in png format
