Hello,

Here's the story. I coded a tournaments system at request, and after (much) testing it seems to be pretty stable. The system allows for an admin to add games in the ACP, and then one open tournament to each game at a time. Once one is closed, admin can open another one for that game.

In each tournament you specify the number of players, and how many points are awarded for finishing off at each bracket. You also set the number of points in a given tournament for the final winner.

Users go to the tournaments system and sign up for an open tournament (or multiple tournaments). They cannot see who else has entered until they sign up. When signing up you specify if you can send or receive or both (this has to do with server connectivity for a specific game management console, but if you do not care about this feature, you can all just choose both). Once there are enough players, a mod goes in and hits a button to randomly pair the opponents 1 on 1. It matches sends with receives first, then uses boths as leftovers. That way if I can send and you can receive, we can be paired, but receives aren't paired with receives unless there is no choice.

Once you are paired, you must choose who won your match in the tournament system, and if each player's entry doesn't match, they are auto-disqualified. A mod can then determine who actually won, or continue the tournament leaving both players disqualified.

As you progress, you get points and finishes in various brackets (Level 4 bracket, Level 2 bracket, etc.). The final winner gets a game win and the Level 2 points + Game points.

Game wins are displayed in the topic info for each topic, but only for games you have played in.

This was a paid mod and it turned out pretty well.
The person who paid for it suggested I put it up for sale here, so that we can recover some of the money to begin working on the next project. I have agreed.

Note the overall leaderboard per tournament which shows all users who have played in that game and their stats.

I am asking $40 for the mod, and $10 for install (you are not required to purchase installation, but it is available if you like). The original price was $50 for the mod, so you get $10 off as I do not have to recode it again.

The money will go towards the next mod this requester wants created. He has several RPG and Game -oriented mods in mind.

you can edit it any way that you want. I just wanted to make sure it was known before you bought it that if you wanted something to work differently, etc, I wouldn't be able to take any customized projects on. I try to be honest and up front.

This tournament syste is/was currently used by: GameRenders(soon to come), Digital-Industry, and itsgameover.com. Its a nifty, unique IPB script that you can customize to your liking later on the road - bfarber has given the ok! This is a $40 dollar offer for GameRender members. Take it, or leave it...
