Toolbars!

hey guyz im wondering how do u get rid of toolbars???? i have yahoo toolbar :censored: and i wanna get rid of it ! i tried "add/remove programs" and stuff ! it didnt work so please tell me !

and im using firefox btw !

 

1. Dont install it in the first place.
2. go to c:\program files\ in there should be the yahoo bar, if it didnt come with an un-installer, just erase the folder.
3. try spyware removers to get rid of it.
4. google on hiow to uninstall it, some have actual un-installers that you have to download seperate.

that's all I can think of at the moment. hope one of these helps.

why would i install it PURPOSELY if i hate it ! that means i installed it accidentally ! but yeah i'll try ur way ! thanks

You can also go.
View>Toolbars and clcik the ones you dont want to see.

 

yeah i got google toolbar to help with ad-blocking. I advise everyone to get it

 

If you have firefox then there is no need for the google toolbar.

ehh it helps on adblocking a bit but mostly used for ie when i got flash and quicktime stuff. but yeah not needed in ff

not all un-installers are written into the add & remove programs file, but most of them have an uninstaller in the program files/whatever folder.

 

I use spysweeper for this kind of things it is verry good!
