Ahhh ps3 comes out like a year from now... these are things called rumors and by the time it comes out so many changes will have been made.
-Memory sticks aren't a big deal, more memory, and now we can move files onto our computers. As for compatability, hey at least the ps3 will be able to play ps1 and ps2 games, the 360 isnt backwards compatible. -PS2 perhiperals ? What perhiperals ? There was just the Guncon, and the multitap. -DVD remote ? big deal I can get up off the couch and walk the 10 feet to the tv. -HDD for multimedia and not games ? Why would you load your games onto the HDD when you have them on disc ? -HD TV ? Everything is going in that direction, it only makes sense to get the most out of the system by putting it on HDTV's. -Gamespot will report anything, but it wouldn't make sense for sony to delay another year. -And as for the pS3 not being aimed as a gaming system, X-360 is going for the same thing, multimedia, games, music, movies, the whole deal. I think your statement wasn't thoughout very well.
Haha, That's lame. But, It's good for me, I'm a huge MS Supporter, and a Huge Sony-Hater. I bought a five hundred dollar stereo from them. It just.. Stopped.. Working in two weeks. I've hated them ever since.
I don't know if your information is completely true, but the ps3 controller does look strange and it looks like the xbox 2 will have the more value in games. Ut 2007, Perfect Dark Zero, Halo 3, I mean come on, what does ps3 have. Another final fantasy? I think I had enough of those.
Either way you can't pass judgement on the game library because it's barely been formed. The fact that the new systems have very similar specs/capabilities and are going to pretty much equal in power makes it very likely that games will be developed across all consoles.It would only make sense for developers to release their software on all systems to maximize profits. I mean you guys are already Fanboying about why your favorite console is better. I really dislike the current state of "console" gaming. Sony and Microsoft are designing overexpensive lackluster computers...not consoles. I'll be getting a Revolution first. Unless, of course, my dad buys a 360 or PS3 before I get a console. In any case, the only good thing to come out of the next generation of consoles, I believe, will be Nintendo's ROM service. But it's only meh-ish, because 1. I have pretty much every single NES and SNES ROM ever made, 2. NoA's president incorrectly said firsty party releases would be free (disappointment of the century -_-), 3. I'm unsure if I'll be able to put pirated ROMs on it. Anyway... I hope Mario and Zelda doesn't change. Final Fantasy already pisses me off.
