The trailer which was shown on E3 got my hopes pretty damn high. I've always wanted a realistic skateboarding game, but what do you know, THP8 is the same über combo ---- that we have seen in past. And the PS2 version is a pure ripoff. I am going to buy THP8, but I must wait till march, because I really don't want to play THP8 on PS2. Well EA is making a TH competitior and it looks very realistic skateboarding game. I will be looking forward to that one. http://img42.imagevenue.com/aAfkjfp01fo1i-...h_122_596lo.jpg http://img163.imagevenue.com/img.php?image...h_122_539lo.jpg http://img105.imagevenue.com/img.php?image...h_122_534lo.jpg http://images.xboxyde.com/gallery/public/4667/1179_0003.jpg Video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v0hzuOPKnNg But it's EA after all and those are just target renders, so...
well i like the tony hawk games because they arent realistic. i mean i skate so naturally skating is only really fun when you skating with your friends and practicing new tricks and such. if they made a truly realistic skating game without the kickers and such to do the cool tricks, i probably would have no fun playing it.
I see your point, it still is an arcade type game. It's just an 11 year old kid pulling a 1080, well; isn't possible?
man i think P8 is killer. the way the wheels spin when you do the nail the trick mode is bomb! seriously an awsome game...

yea but the tony hawk games never really have how realistic the game is on their mind. they go for fun and imo, they definately succeed in that aspect. plus, if someone wanted to be the kid because of the customization issues and cant do certain tricks because of it, well that not quite fair now is it?
