make a pic on every layer.

when doign a trut for som1 else, turn the layer up to normal and 100% opeacity to see what was done, and if still cant figure out, pm the make of the tag.

    Yep, al has been said.
Be very detailed about every step you do, you know how to do it, but others don't...
So it can be quite annoying if you've done 2/3 of a tut to discover the maker has left out an important part, and then there you are ^^

And yes, spelling counts too, and also the way you write your text.
Don't make it all too stiff, try writing it on a loose and relaxed way, that's way more pleasant fro people to read :)

Ones that dont have pics to support each step are harder and less work for you and also for more advanced gfxers, ones that do have pics to support the steps mostly have a betters outcome and are much easier to understand, like me i need pics.

Also put a pic of not only a layer but also if you make a step in their that has to do with blending options or another setting, take a screen shot of the settings.

    Well thats about it.

Thats not a great suggestion, many people use fonts that are hard to read, it makes the sig look better also shows a style in the sig. :P Like have a font thats easy enough to read then some fonts to go in their that ard harder to read. :)

I think he meant for the tut...

MY suggestion : Assume the person reading the tutorial is 5 years old and has never used a PC before. If you, for example, say "now desaturate the layer" there will always be someone who says "how do I desaturate" because they cant be bothered working it out for themselves. Save yourself time and them embarrasment by laying everything out :P

It's sometimes hard to remember that people can be stupid though...

Just do something that people will understand, and add your own flavor to it, and be as precise as possible
