I have absolutely no idea how to code for anything, and thus have no idea how hard this
probably is. But, is there a way to make thumbnails, like in the gallery, to appear in the renders and Prem. renders sections? The gallery is pretty much avoided now and It would be cool to take some of the functionality from that and move it to a popular section.

Can't people do that themselves? Theres options when they upload a pic in sites that give them a thumbnail link. If this isn't what you're talking about, sorry.

I think what he means is that like you have thumbnails when you view the page. I would link you to a site that has that mod, but it'd be advertising. PM me if you want a link.
This would help out the lower connection internet users that visit the site.
I tend to leave sites that have this enabled because it gets annoying after a while, just my views on it.

Putting the title "Halo" doesn't really say what render it is, hell, it could be an actual Halo, an angel, or Master Chief, lol. But that looks cool, it'd probably be a little difficult to put in though.

Custom Coding for something like that would cost in the hundreds of dollars. The staff and shaggy put alot of money into this site. Even with all the members paying for Ruby, Diamond, and Platinum Shaggy still pays out of his pocket for hosting.

I would say its handy, but then it also will make that page load a little slower, i feel its easier if we leave it.

I personally think its a great idea.. and I'm sure there is someone around here with the ability to code something like that for a fairly low price ;)

    Eh, sorry.

But, it's needless, really. Not only is that kinda of coding complicated + usually expensive, it'll cause extra lag on the page and it's anything but a necessary feature. Titles tell you what you need to know, really, if you want people to know the exact type of render then say so in the title.

Closed for now. Good idea but, just not at the moment.
