Ok so i was talking to my friend last night, and I showed her this picture: I asked her what this meant to her and her reply was: Petting a kitten=All evils excused, got it. So I'm asking you guys what this means to you.
I could go on for pages with a picture like that. but for now. Lets just go with a tired soldier relieving his stress by petting a kitten.
"A husband. A father. A brother. No man is just a soldier" (or something in that nature) A soldier is still just a human... He propably doesn't enjoy shooting people (but who knows, there might be some who do like it) and what do people do? They pet furry cute animals...
it means that the person hasn't had decent food in such a long time, that they are considering feline.
I think the cat just wanted to be stroked so it went up to a person who would do that for it. cat knows nothing about good or evil unless im mistaken as for the person strokeing it, it's just comferting, he wants to keep an eye out, he may get shot out in the open like that
A soldier who gets reminded of his far away home, bcuz he has a cat at home that looks just like that one.. this pic was taken just b4 the tears were falling
The picture neither feels forced or contrived, but a really natural moment it what must be difficult times for anyone caught up in the brutality of war. The cat...if only for a brief moment allows this soldier to show us another side to our human nature. One which is not brutal or sadistic, but caring and compassionate. Well at first glance thats how this picture speaks to me.
