Let's see, they say unlimited BW for $10/yr

The catch? In their faq it says they're colocated in somebody else's farm on a 10mbps pipe. 10 MEGABITS per second.

My internet is faster than that for god's sake.

If they have more than 10-15 total users concurrently downloading for *all* their customers, then they're screwed.

Anyone actually have a large site hosted there with files > 500MB?

i got unlimited bandwith and hosting for 100 creds per 3 months

 

I'm going to have ~19 gigs of music on my host...

its 10% CPU usage of a 2.4GHz thing (meaning dont have a lot of traffic to your site)

its really about 30 gigs of bandwith and 3 gigs of space, still not bad, but not good either.

thats about what I had when it was shut down (so rudely for someone elses idiotic mistake)

 

Eh? How much "CPU resources" does a download (or upload, from the server's point of view) take?

 

varieso n the size of the download and how many users are downloading it.

its really not the best host. ive scraped better things off the bottom of my shoe after stepping through horse ----.
