This Site Is Just Not The Same...

I'm here for atleast an hour a day. I usually check up here when I'm at home. If there is something that someone feels that I am not doing that I should be doing, I'm certianly up to suggestions.

 

Your a great guy who just got lucky and I see nothing wrong with how you became a mod, some do some don't. And I couldn't care less who is a mod as long as the community is dealt with correctly. For that I thank you and congratulate you. Anywho wheres the rest of the mods? lol

 

Ive Known SwAT for a while now and i have to say he hadnt done anything before he was made Mod that in my opion made him deserve it but since then i havent been active so i dont know what kinda job hes done. Andrew shouldnt be Mod he holds grudges, he doesnt like people who have opposite views as him and i think he probably influenced Shaggys Decision to make you Mod. The whole staff could do with a clean out if you ask me shaggy or at least review alot of them. There are a few Mods that do deserve it but others don't. This whole thing has got outta hand and i think Shaggy has done well up til this whole email thing. There are many members that do deserve staff positions because of things they have done for the forum including Blazeman but Blazeman wont be Mod because he has different views to BFTP(Andrew) and Andrew wont let him be a Mod. Certain members have way too much control inculding BFTP, but i can think of 5 members off the top of my head that deserve it more than you did SwAT

 

i agree, the site just doesnt feel the same... = ( it feels like somthing is missing... = (

 

You and Logicaly are doing fine SwAT (outside that I think Logically could take a chill pill once in a while, still got <3 for her), my main problem with staff lies in Andrew, as it has since I decided hes one sided after asking Llama to speak to him and after asking another mod to do what he disagreed to doing (being blocking iGO links because members were spamming them, which was temp. banned as in filtered, but for some reason that was removed, but ive had mods close those threads or edit the origional post to disinclude iGO links when andrew decided he didnt want them to be closed/editted as its his personal site).

And with the whole swat thing i think its because he was in the irc channel alot so they knew alot more of him and so is that logacially person. They bhad to work up from a irc mod to know a mod.

Only thing i have to say is this site used to have staff and other choices done by who deserved it because of what they did for the site....the whole promote because other staff want them used to be a great idea but it went to hell when Renagade was picked as staff because he was picked from no were...

But i have to say Shaggy will do good with GR just needs to get away from the moderators look at who is what on the site and figure out FOR HIM SeLF whats best for the site...through his opinions

 

I say screw it... everyone should go over to BlazeXtreme and build that place up... Much better management IMO. There are too many young kiddos running things these days...

Thanks for the support. In BFTP's defense though, he has done many gutsy things, but he really isn't a bad guy, once again, you have to get to know him.

 

Once you get to know him...its more like agree with him or he will he act like your lower than crap...I honestly did it for awhile and i got horribly irrated with agreeing with stuff thats not right in my views..but becuase of the support he gets because of the followers its impossible to battle him

 

You do realize most the staff at BX are teenagers and were chosen because Blaze liked them, correct? They may have been qualified Blaze, but you know you wouldnt have let them be staff if you disliked them on a personal level and you cant argue that as you have expressed it over MSN before.

Management always looks better on smaller sites, contests are always better on smaller sites, you just wait, in 2 years those money winning contests for SOTW and w/e will go away and it will begin its journey into the same as any other large/long-lasting forum and it will have its ups, downs, noobs, annoyances, staff changes, members joining and leaving and everything else incorporated, its virtually inevitable unless its a private community thats invite only and only to people who do things professionally to discuss (as in business professional designers, not just people who get paid for work, like i do, by private parties) who will maintain that interest for a long time because their job requires it.
