Actually, moving to 2.0 was a very smart decision, that doesnt affect how the forum is except making it safer, and run better. And look better. I'm an old GR member too, I know that only helped...

Why are some people so concerned about who got promoted or how they got promoted? Does it matter? As long as they're doing their job it's fine. Hell I dont know who "Marforce" or how he got promoted but that doesn't bother me, why should it bother you? I know "some" people feel like they should get promoted but thats just having the wrong attitude. You don't do stuff for GR so you can get promoted, you do them out of the goodness of your heart (mushy i know). IMO staff selection should be solely at the admin(s)' discretion...with no discussion.

 

see how many members stick around on a site when an admin has that kind of attitude .

 

I havent seen anything bad about shaggy, he snice and cool and i dont see anywhere in this thread or in forums saying shaggy is a bad admin or dissing him, so whats with the people saying "shaggy hasent done anything wrong or shaggy didnt do any w/e"

1) he broke on of his own rules (advertising)... more than once
2) the tutorial rule is just plain retarded, and it has caused GR to go into a noob-slump

 

goddamn, every single mother flipping post from you is about the tut rule, its here to stay, more people agree with it than disagree and its going to help in the long run, so you can shut up and deal with it. There are far more things than selling tutorials on sigs you normally never even made. Try actually making signatures and selling them... tutorials used to be free, the way they are on basically every other site, you werent bitching about it back then, i dont see why you are now...

this tutorial rule is helping GR by eliminating the large gap between those who already know what they are doing and are simply here to make money and those who would like to learn to become those people who can make credits through selling stuff. im even taking my credits that I get from selling stuff and giving them to moderators to remove them from the system to help get credits out of circulation and decrease the overall value of each credit back to where it should be.

 

I make templates... not sigs. And the sigs i do make arent going to sell for much, so i dont sell them. I make MAYBE 1 a month, so theress no point even then. The tut rule is gay... that could be why its in all my posts. It is the worst thing to happen to GR.

Look in the offers/requests and show me how many pro tutorials you can find for 50 credits, posted by the actual author of the tutorial... then go back about 2-3 weeks and show me how many are then. Most of the pros have left, and im about to take leave soon. I am awaiting my tutorials to be made on sigs i bought a while ago... then i will sell my account and be gone from GR.

GR is not a tutorial site... you want a tutorial site i suggest going to www.good-tutorials.com
You may think this is a "community-site", by i saw it as a graphics site for fun.... i came here to show work, and learn. I would expect to recieve payment if i was a tutor, or a teacher... so a tutorial follows the same rules.
