i am lookin to buy a newer comuter since3 my current one is going haywire and i think this one seems to look ok can you guys tell me if it is good Intel Pentium 4 519 Processor 3.0GHz, 533MHz FSB, 1 MB Cache 1024MB DDR RAM 160GB Hard Disk Drive Multi-Format Dual Layer DVD-RW Drive 256MB GE Force 6200 Graphics 6 USB connections Microsoft Works 8.0 Software Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition 17" TFT Flat Panel Monitor £599.99
Hmm. Processors..well most people prefer AMD now-a-days...AMD = Gaming. Intel = media (music/video work) Ram is good HD is good, but another one for backup work might be good. DVD drive is good Graphics card is...eh..its not the best for big gaming but Its decent. The rest is good.. Now is it good for the price? Matters how much that is in american money..
Whats your system to be used for. He is a setup for moderate gaming aswell as everything else. AMD 64 3200+ ASRock Dual-SATA2 1024MB DDR RAM 160GB WD SATA HD Benq DW-1640 Connect3D x800GTO Microsoft Windows XP Pro 17" TFT Flat Panel Monitor What you have looks like a pre-built pc. Its not very good and it looks like a bit of a rip off. Its cheaper to build your own and its easy to, you can just follow video tutorials on the internet from site such as amd.com.
diablo , amd pwns intel in everything now that the dual cores are here so... . even intel has reconised officially that they are loosing alot of customers... because ill try to find the link, intel is 2 years behind amd performance-wise..
I'm just goin for what I hear ^ I personally thought AMD was better than Intel in bout anyway also but wasnt completely sure......
intel=hot plate on a stove intel dominate nothing in the cpu market anymore except for heat and crappyness. However I doubt we will see the same from their next generation, I feel they will get their act together because they never though amd would become this good.
