    Yes it will work fine, but before you use it try out the stock hs/fan combo. They are very good, esp the Pent. D ones.

    If you dont like the temps, then try the above

    yea, i already have a pD and i dont like the temps 60-70 load and 50 idle. thats too much, plus i want to overclock it

    AF --- 7 is a decent cooler from what I hear.

    for 3$ more, try the scythe mine.

    only disadvantage is it's a little bigger but ti's a ebtter cooler overall.

    also the Core 2 stock cooler is crap it loads/idles 15C higher than my scythe infinity.

    Also AMD heatpipe cooler>intel's stock cooler.
