Too much contrast with the orange gradient and the silver one below it. The orange and gray boxes aren't really helping either. The carbon fiber top looks kind of dull. Maybe give it a glaze/slick look to it. Not digging the title text or the link text either.
Adding a gloss would add a lot. I didn't feel like the contrast was too much, it kinda adds look at me area to it. Not bad at all tho ;]
