The Use Of -rep

    someone explain to me why this existed in the first place? i mean, i understand -rep (usually for doing a good render) but it seems like people use -rep hoping to get on the person's nerve. i thought the whole point of this site is rendering images.

    It was, but now this community grow so big that it isn't only focusing on that.

    Yep... just like what Neilz said, back then and today, the use of + or - rep were really different.

    who would want to remove the rep and credit system lol thats why people are active so they can get full rights to sigs thats a great thing to have

    Well there is alot of problems with people being good one minute and the next being a complete butt....so it is there to make sure there is a balance of reputation a person should really have.

    ALOT of people would probably leave GameRenders if the credit and rep system was removed

    well, im not saying remove rep and credits sytem. just negative repping. but i guess blazeman's right. i guess this thread can be closed, unless someone else wants to add anything important

    Well i think the -rep system should go threw members who can deide if its for a good reason or jsut to piss the person off.

    Rep is a big part of this community.
    So anything to do with that should be serious.
    Plus I dont see what else is serious atm...I'm not saying they got it easy, but it's just tons of little things all over the place.

    So no, if there really is something wrong, I'm sure they can take care of it. I'm not saying drop what they were doing and work on it, but they will find time sometime..

    EDIT: but yea atm no need for change. End o' story.

    i get your point man, but i got 1 -rep becauser the person whated me to have 0 rep. I pmed the adming a couple of times with no results. But i know there busy so i dont cus about it. But i just think the -rep system eshould go threw 5-6 specific active members who can make sure they are for a good reason
