it is the people who elect presidents. And yes it is 4-8 years. Presidents do not have supreme power. Ever heard of the 3 branches of government? These branches keep dictatorships from occuring and help protect us. If there was any possibility in members of those branches mind then there would be attempts to impeach Bush. Unless the entire government is behind this, then it means that people with real access to information don't believe is such crap. If the entire governemnt is behind such a theory then live with it, we are screwed and there is nothing the US can do about it right now.
