Buddy PS3 Online Is free thats amaziziziziing, except that like sumtimes u cant find a game for like 15 minutes. Which makes xbox have its advantage of alot more players that are online and easier to find ganmes
Wii Wii is more of a young kids console or party console if your always with friends imo, i havent played on it and dont intend to as i can clearly see what its like just from watching people playing on it in game/music stores etc. Graphics are rubbish and its still going around with Mario after all these years cant they have a new face of Nintendo or something. Better off buying either a PS3 or 360 imo. PS3 - its very very quiet, has more things to do on the interface than 360, Home will kick the crap out of everything the Wii and 360 has, games yeh there not much at the moment but soon there will be Gran Turismo, Metal Gear Solid 4, Haze etc. Has some great games out for it already like Heavenly Sword, Uncharted: Drakes fortune, Ratchet and Clank:ToD, Motorstorm,Resistance: fall of man, and Warhawk. PS3 doesnt really have a face to put to its product as it doesnt need one, Nariko from Heavenly Sword has been mentioned in the past but theres loads more different and interesting characters than what either the Wii or the 360 has to offer imo. The PSN store is quite good imo and will only get better, with any updates/add-ons to any games. Ive downloaded alot from here already with things like wallpapers, add-ons, full games and themes. 360 - console decides to ends it miserable life with its owner which means you have to send it back to Microsoft within a certain period of time which leaves you console less for how ever long it take for them to fix or replace it. its a little on the noisy side, the console is relying on games like Halo to keep it alive. Games like Gears of War(which i admit to was really good), Halo 3, Mass Effect, Bioshock are all pretty similar games, while the PS3 has a wider selection of games already.It does have a few racers like PGR which is the only decent one they have and it has one or two flight games which arent very good, i dont really see much in the marketplace when i look on my friends 360 that would make me want to get anything from it. The face of the XBOX 360 is pretty much Master Chief mainly because of the Halo fanbase, for me i wouldnt want to see MC as the company/product mascot but more of a mix between characters.. XBL ive been told is pretty good. Anyone who says the PS3 is crap clearly cant afford one or their mummy or daddy wont buy it for them, 360 is ok and in the middle of the market imo but its not my cup of tea and the Wii is ok if your young with its range of thing to play and do.
thanks for the post, but what really wants to make you choose the PS3? you do know that the 360 has much better games... right? You missed out on an AWFUL lot from the ones above. And "console decides to ends it miserable life with its owner which means you have to send it back to Microsoft within a certain period of time" which is 4 years, and you only have problems if you leave the 360 running for over 20+ hours. AND what makes the PS3 home kickass? If you really looked at the 360 you'd realise it has much much more to offer.
forget the Wii.. i only put bits in cos its as i feel and im not making people want to buy the PS3 its down to what they feel is right for them. ok how long has the 360 been around compared to the PS3? ive had my PS3 since it came out in march so.. what makes the 360 such a better console?and what games does it offer that are good if not reasonable?
It's all a matter of taste, me thinks. Some people just rather play the 360 than a PS3, others rather play A PS3 than a Wii, and so on, and so on. I choose for the 360 because it has alot of good games. PS3 doesn't have alot and well, the Wii is too kiddy for me. But that's just me.<.<
exactly the same for me but.. I choose the PS3 because it has good games and plenty of good ones in the future. 360 doesn't have alot that interests me, and yeh the Wii is too kiddy.
I've had mine since may and the only time my ps3 is not running is when we had a wind storm that knocked a pole out down the street and we were without power for 4 hours. I have both consoles and I tend not to compare them cause with the hardware of both Ps3 is the no brainer choice. 360 does have alot to offer on the side of gaming...... but that's it it's abilities really stop right dead in their tracks with games and XBL the interconnectivity between gamers is limited to a voice chat or an msn chat which msn on the 360 is horrible to navigate but that's beside the point. With the Ps3 I have full on video chats with up to 6 ppl at a time and I have a video editor that was free when I bought the PSEye, I can link my PS3 directly to my computer and transfer files over ehem including that of UT3 maps I build from the unreal 3 editor and allow any body who owns ps3 ut3 to play it and enjoy it it's an unlimited array of fresh content so in terms you can say the difference between PS3 and 360 is that 360 is just a console, the Ps3 is more of a Desktop/console disguised as a Entertainment system...... oh yeah and btw YDL 5.0 can be loaded as a seperate OS which makes it basically a desktop if you were wondering my reference to that. Don't get me wrong I play my 360 cause it has a 1/3 more games than PS3 but as of february that number is going met with the new set of games dated to come out that are sony exclusive Haze, Little Big Planet *which btw is a fully editiable with full prefab and zbrush style painting*, MGS4, Gran Turismo 5, and many more set in further dates but wait until Square pulls their head out and finishes the FFXIII series of three games your not gonna want to be at ground zero when that scene blows up were talking 100 million copies of those three FFXIII games are the least amount to be sold. *and if your confused on what I meant was between all three FXIII games coming out combined there will be 100 million copies sold in anticipation* Also sony has allready fixed the very limited and very seldom overheating problem by switching out the c90 cell broadband engine for the c65 cell which has the same amount of power and less heat IBM just put the c65 line out 4 months ago for sony to put in the ps3 so anyone with the 80 gig as of november will have absolutely no problems with overheating and might run quite better than the 60 gig which I have only had my 60 gig freeze from overheat once and that was in the summer during a 100 degree day with no ventilation so I blame it on the circumstances. Meanwhile I sent my 360 back to microsoft twice for two separate reasons, one was it over heated *out in the open air of the room btw not in the entertainment center next to the tv where I keep the ps3* and fried something so they sent me a new console I know cause I carefully cracked the console and wrote my initials on metal underneath the motherboard, and with a new console I hadn't had it for 3 months and it wouldn't come off of the red ring of death, and heres the shotty thing about all this with microsoft I sent this second one back to them and they still charged me 45 bucks to repair it ...... even though it had not been 90 days and I know goddamn good and well that console was a brand new one so shouldn't I have gotten a 90 extended warranty well hmmm let's see and I quote "Even though we send you a new console does not mean we are going to add a new warranty to it, the first console you sent in was in warranty and that one expired 2 months ago and that is the warranty we refer back to." SNAKES I TELL YA SNAKES!!!!!lol with my ps2 I had for I think it was about 16 months I sent that back to sony cause the lazer went nuts and wouldn't read anything and made a noise that would strike the fear of god into small children lol needless to say the thing was basically junk, I sent it back to sony mind you they only had a 90 day warranty and this was in the 16th month. I sent it back to them for 7 dollars shipping, I get it back 3 days later and I didn't check the serial numbers or anything thing so I can't say if it was new or not, but it was fixed and never had another problem with it for the rest of the time I had it before I traded it in and they extended my warranty with a extended 90 warranty which in the small print they happily said "Here at Sony we find it necessary to extend our warranty when shipping back fix or replaced console........... *and it goes on like a disney film on coke* .......... We take pride and satisfaction in knowing our customers are taken care of in the best way manageble" I will never forget that and never will and therefore with my experiences and this very short story of my life I will be with sony no matter what they do.
Well, reason why I bought a 360 was the games, and the ps3 wasn't out yet when I had enough money to buy it. xD
lol 2008 is PS3's year Killzone 2 Resistance 2 (looks awesome) LBP Motorstorm 2 MGS4 Heavy rain (maybe) FFXIII (maybe) GT5 Haze + multiplats, and I'm sure I forgot some. Honestly it's ------ing awesome to own a ps3!
since when has gran turismo been multiplay...didn think so i think ur mistaked it for grand theft auto which is in short is GTA 4 (multiplat) GT5 = gran turismo 5 which is ps3 exclusive
