Listen to the facts guys, don't just say "x360 pwns PS3 n wii newbs!!!11". Right now Wii is doing great because of it's ease of use and it's great gameplay. I'm not saying x360 and PS3 don't have good games, but the Wii has some that actually make you move around and do creative things, instead of just sitting down and playing shooting games with a controller. (I know the graphics aren't as good as the x360 and PS3, but to me gameplay is more important than how it looks) I would buy the Xbox 360 and PS3 too, but they both have their flaws. PS3 has almost (not totally) no worthwhile games to play right now, but it's price is the real thing that's preventing me from getting it. 60 would be nice to buy, but I'll only buy it once all these hardware errors are fixed. I don't want my system to be the victim of one of them. Overall I would say Nintendo is farthest in the race. Nintendo is going to bring some pretty terrific innovations in the future and I cannot wait for them!
Well, I am collecting the money for an 360, just so you know my preference goes to that .. But: My mate got a Wii for his birthday, been at his house for 1 day, playing Wii Sports and Red Steel, but I have to say that I was amazed about how it works .. Wii Sports is really fun and very active, cause you really have to focus on what you are doing, and ofcourse, use your hands instead of your controller so much. When I saw Red Steel I was like; WTF ? Graphics where amazing from Trailers I had seen! Right now, I think that Nintendo has to introduce some more .. Well, shooting games, or stuff like Mario / Mario Party. Would really do them well to some of the older gamers. <3 Mario :wub:

Got a 360 and a Wii, no desire to ever purchase a PS3. Wii was exciting at first, Wii Sports is still fun but...I just find controlling other games (Tomb Raider) etc. annoying, and I'd much rather be playing it on the 360 at the moment, that'll change when Smash Bros comes out (<3) but for now, 360 is the top console for me. The main problem I have with the PS3, is every time someones told me how great it is...their reasoning behind it just falls short. Regardless of what it was hyped to be the graphics are nothing better then the 360s, online for free is good but Xbox's online community is always going to be FAR better and there's a huge lack of good exclusive titles coming out. On top of that, I couldn't give a damn about Blu-Ray. PS : I bought a release 360, IE when they first came out...and I'm yet to have an error, keep it well ventilated and off the ground.
In my oppinion, the xbox 360 is winning the race by far. After weeks and weeks of considering what to buy, the 360 just beats the ps3 in every single area. Don't say "OOH U JST SAY DAT CAUSE U NO LIKE PLAYSTATION" lol. I had a playstation one, and a PS2, and havn't even thought about buying the original xbox. I'v been adicted to a massive shooting game called "Socom 2" and played it for around 4 years, I LOVED it. After having the PS2 for soooo long (got it a month after release) the PS3 was the only option I could think of. BUT, now that I have to earn all of my own money, I wanted to really think the purchase through. I went over to my friend who I played socom 2 wuth forever, and he has both a wii and a ps3. He went through all of the things you can do with both systems, and right away the wii was out. The things about the PS3 that cought my eye are (that the 360 dosn't have)= You can attach your PSP to the PS3 and give it the ability to stream videos right off of youtube, it has a built-in wireless internet source, (with the 360 it must be bought seperatly), it has 4 usb ports, to the 360's 2, It plays HDDVD movies, DVD movies, and blueray. (While the 360 plays DVD, and can play HDDVD with a very expensive add-on..) AND of course the webbrowser. things that cought my eye with the 360- (that the PS3 dosn't have): HALO. You can be on MSN messenger, while doing anything on your 360 (you can even get a keyboard for it, and it dosn't bug you at all.) The controllers, I like them alot more than the Playstations. MICROSOFT. I trust them alot more then i do chinese playstation brand. MARKET PLACE. You can go to the market place and download free demos, to decide if you want to buy the game. in market place you can also download movies, themes, maps, and much more. Online.. Trust me, the 360 beats the PS3 in EVERY way possible in online mode. GAMERSCORE. If you do certain things in games, you get acheiments in games, and it adds up to a score. BUNGIE.NET/XBOX.COM. If you do play halo, you can save screenshots from the game, and get them on your computer. You can check EVERY game youv played, and your Kills/deaths. awsome ^.^. PS3: Bad things- Size, very little good games, price. 360: Bad things- Overheats (this can be fixed though, and if its before 4 years, you get a brand new 360), the fan can be VERY loud, add-ons. The 360 has way to many addons. Im sure there's many more for both systems, Im just not remembering everything WII: Good things- Err.. it gets you active..(not really.. my friend has one and all he does is flick his wrist :/) size its actually really small. Bad: Terrible graphics, made for a younger generation, mario games are getting really old, etc. Dont get a wii.
