What people aren't understanding is that right now, the point that a lot of people are making about the wii having no games isn't going to bother half of the people who are buying it. The reason the Wii is selling so well is because it attracted non-dedicated gamers to the gaming scene. These are people that DO NOT PLAY A LOT VIDEO GAMES OFTEN. Their system will probably spend the majority of it's time on the shelf, and online play won't be a necessity to those people. Therefore, only having one game for a while (wii sports), or heck, maybe forever is fine because they aren't playing it NEARLY as often as "avid" gamers like yourselves (and I) are. And as far as the trademark thing mentioned above, that has very little to do with sony's poor sales.
[/quote] that's a very very very good point and that is exactly why ive been sorta bored with my wii for a while. nintendo was focused on selling systems for that past 8 months and now the second wave of games (or the first wave of good games as you may call it) is coming out. but seriously. i am STILL not bored with wii sports.
I have a Wii and a 360 atm. Screw sony, they have nothing extremely innovative to draw me into them. And plus it's too much $$. Wii offers a truly unique experience for any gamer. 360 has an extremely friendly user interface with an interactive marketplace all intertwined for the ultimate PC/Console connection.
I am mostly just going on games for Xbox360, and PS3. How much better the games are on 360, then get ported over to PS3. Imhfo, Xbox360<Playstation3<Wii 1st-Xbox360, has tons of ultimate games with great graphics, has tons of first person shooters(which I think the majority of gaming does like) and most of them come to the system first. 2nd-Playstation3, it's got good games coming out next year, or late this year. I can't complain, but the graphics are amazing. It's just some of the games out now that don't really appeal to the real gamer franchise. 3rd-Wii, ------ it.

wii will bring in the most profits, heck it's an overpriced rip off xbox 360 will bring in moderate profits, right now it's at margin and 65nm manufacturing will lower productions costs by a notable amount. after the PSP and PS3 failures sony might leave the gaming industry. (waiting for the mass retailiation) companies are in the industry to make money. Sony isn't making any, they're loosing billions.
[/quote] its a rip-off in your eyes, but not mine. nintendo's making money. go nintendo. but really microsoft is gonna have to sell some mad (non-system) units to make up for what they lost. the 360 hardware issue cost them $1.1 billion alone. and they still have to fix the issue, change the assembly lines, etc etc. this, on top of the fact that they can't profit of 360s alone, is bad news. of course microsoft is a computer company first and a gaming company second. im sure they'll still profit in the end. but im waiting for them to confirm that theyve fixed the issue before i buy my 360. knowing my luck it would break the minute i turned it on haha... as for sony. they pretty much suck about now. but lets keep in mind that right now, nintendo is the only true gaming company in the race.
