I'm not sure the ps3 is dead. They've got alot going for them alot going against them. The price is the biggest factor, in Aus there's been no price drop plus if you want one where I live you can't get any. I believe there's been like 10 consoles available in my home city. I'm definately going to wait, see what happens with the blu ray and HD-DVD war. Imo the PS3 will fail if blu-ray does.

The Wii costs about $158.00 Let's do some real math: (units times retail price) Wii: 8,170,000 * $250 USD = $2,042,500,000 PS3: 3,420,000 * $600 USD = $2,052,000,000 (manufacturing cost at amount sold) Wii: 8,170,000 * $158 USD = $1,290,860,000 PS3: 3,420,000 * $840 USD = $2,872,800,000 (retail sales minus manufacturing costs) Wii: $2,042,500,000 - $1,290,860,000 = $749,640,000 PS3: $2,052,000,000 - $2,872,800,000 = -$820,800,000 So by that, Sony is losing more money than Nintendo is making. Not the best thing for your business, and certainly not a valid reason to lower the price. But Sony overall as a whole is doing horrable they get as much lawsuits and MS now... + they are a smaller company then MS (software makes 1000x money compair to hardware). 360 360 hands down . graphics are great . games are just the best . sorry ps3 and wii fans although the wii is fun at the parties .
Yaeh, 360 was amazing over night aswell. Seriously take a look at what you're posting, 360 has been out for like over a year or something and you're comparing it to something that's just otta the oven? Potential is what it's all about.
Wait a year, and then do a 360 vs. PS3. Right now, the PS3 is too early and there are no games (except Resistance) that are actually exclusives. Once MGS4 and FF13 (Versus) comes in then compare the two.
