This thread has been made way too many times. But the 360 is dominating, and will dominate for ever. The boomerand controllers are just a horrible idea.
well its Maximum of 7 players - who here would actually use the full capacity - Ill say around 4 max but still nice to have I wasnt attacking either its merely facts most of it anyways I did say i respect the 360s power as much as PS3 in a sense but PS3 is a gaming console which sony has reputation for - MS ggood at making software and not for making consoles ill say Even tho many will disagree-lol
Im not gonna judge eithe since I don't favor 1 over another.No system is perfect well atleast not now .The PS3 controller yes its "unique" but it'll just take sometime to geting used to.I mean remember the Duke xbox controller or as people like to call it the huge controller..I will probably get the PS3 IF that video of Killzone 2 was In-game graphics because that was amazing but too good to be true.Although the Metal Gear Solid 4 graphics was also bad ass.So which one em I definatly getting?.... only time will tell.

256 is suposed to be running at 3.2Ghz. That's just something you can read anywhere you look so I don't know it's true ^^ However, the Xbox shares its ram with the graphics card, so if it is splitted evenly 50-50, it will still sacrifice clockspeed. What I also don't see is how a processor with overal better performance and 7 specialised cores is being completely owned on that chart. (btw... what exactly is that chart about, seeing how the Xbox nicely matches to 1 ) And now that I see it's from ign, I suddenly realise how god dam split up that site is... if you would look in the Ps3 section you'd end up finding statistics saying exactly the opposite.
According to the article, the 7 cores are useless because they aren't specialized for what the game developers need. At this point it's hard to know what's true.
Well according to what Sony claims, the cores aren't suposed to do anything by default, and able to adjust themselfs to whatever they need to do.
Well, according to what Sony claims, the PS3 will be 4 times faster then the 360 and will cost 20$! [sarcasim]. I used to like Sony - but I don't trust them anymore. They cut corners with everything nowadays: TV's are really crappy, the MP3 players are faulty, some of their programs contain viruses and hacks put in ON PURPOSE... the list goes on. 360 will own the PS3. It already is.
I've played the 360, it's nothing special. I hear people saying, "omg the graphics are soo much better then the xbox and ps2 graphics." What a dissapointment, yea they are good but they look close to the xbox. You can easily compare the ninja gaiden graphics to games like perfect dark zero and king kong. Also, the doom 3 and far cry have similar looking graphics to perfect dark zero. I hope ps3 gives us better results, but I do like the xbox 360, mainly because first person shooters are my favorite. The ps3 is probably gonna have the same cr4p that was on the ps2, like final fantasy and all that stupid rpg stuff. Yea imo rpgs are cr4p.

[/b][/quote] i remember reading an article that said that the 7 cored do different things...so like in a game one core can control their emotions, one can control this, one this and so on...and this is spose to help make games more realistic
