Are you aware that the DS beats the PSP in the gameplay department. Sure the PSP has good graphics and button layout but what makes the DS better than the PSP is the wide range of games and a very flexible user interface through the use of the touch pad. Playing sudoku has never been any better before! I've played some PSP games and I must say i was very confused with the buttons on the handheld. I can use the arrows and joystick and the 4 buttons and start/select buttons but for a non gamer? He'd get confused at first sight... What the hell do I press to start playing? Big turn off for those people. Graphics attract you to a game but if its not fun, then the graphics ultimately become useless. Its like the difference between a movie and a vidoe game. Playstation rant - It is one of the most UNORIGINAL consoles ever made. The controller has stayed the same and I must say its not a good one at all. The XBOX and GC controllers are more comfy to use. All Sony ever had done with their consoles is simply UPGRADE the GFX and Processor and memory with each generation. User Interactivity, which is the biggest factor in people starting to use consoles and continuing with it is lower than mediocre! It has been repeated three times. The last two controllers have two joysticks added to it. That's it. The PS3 has tilt but that's it... Games - Shooters, shooters, shooters, shooters, shooters, shooters, shooters. Shooters deserve to die! The genre has become dead. Rpgs, rpgs, rpgs. All the same, but different characters. You know what the goal of every RPG is. Racing, racing, racing, racing, racing. Another dead genre. Sports, sports, sports, sports, sports. Anything else??? Jak and Daxter - remake of standard adventure games. Katamari Darcy - just about the only innovative game out there for Playstation. Metal Gear Solid - good game but not much changed from first to last version. Addons, thats about it. I wonder how long you guys play on the playstation for? 2 hours before getting bored?!?!?
wow more like rant of a crazy nintendo fanboy...why can't you just enjoy all three systems...even if you can't afford them you will still play them at your friends house...and IT IS A FACT ALL 3 systems have their good games! THEY ALL DO! if you want to stick to your one system then wow you are losing out so sucks for you..to bad so sad...fanboy rants are just sad and lame! better to enjoy all three and pc! and if you can't afford all three like me get the one you prefer and play the others at a friends place and don't bash them cause it is a fact and every knows each system has their good games.
All my money's going into a new PC. I'm not even gonna bother with PS3, 360, or the Wii. There's not much of a point. Plus, Microsoft usually releases their games on PC anyway.
people have been dissin nintendo on here places like youtube etc too, ps3 fanboiz sony created the tilt controller for Ps1, which im sure you all know, released after Snes it doesn't bother me sony copied the idea, just didnt want people to think sony thought of it first.
Yea we have been dissing nintendo but we have been brining logical arguements. This guy just posted some really crazy stuff. What kind of argument is this against the PS3. Plus who cares if they copied it. If it makes for better gameplay then thats great. It doesn't really matter who invesnted it first.
i was just proving it to Kennedy, it didn't really bother me, but proof is what he asked for and logical arguements? gfx are worse than ps3 and xbox? lol. we all knew that, but in the end wii wins with gameplay. gfx grab your attention, but doesn't mean the game is good. i aint saying bad gfx makes a good game, but really anything can make a game fun to play.
Holy frikin qaboly! That's old lol. Proofed me wrong alright. But I really don't believe that the original controller was a big break. I'm just glad that PS3 will have the tilt (I'm really eager to play Warhawk in action) But please people stop dissing/bashing/flaming the other consoles it's stupid.
ok lets say a new way to use a controller doesnt always mean that it will have amazing gameplay compared to the ps3 or 360 because lets take the gun controller for a example, using a gun insteadm of a controller that was fresh but it isnt doin that well anymore is it. So how do you know that the wii will be any different
i just don't think the other consoles have anything special rather than good graphics. Xbox online, sure, thats good.. seems like 90% of the population only play Halo 2 online, lol. the wii has been very successful with their new way of gaming. and... on the 7th and 8th, several thousand more will be sold.. hundreds of thousands
ok, A new control scheme doesnt make gameplay, developers may gameplay and at the moment the wii third party developers are not doin their best unlike the 360's and the ps3's they have been putting nearly over 1.5 years into each project
If it had the best gameplay it would be reflected in its game reviews. the wiimote doesn't automatically mean best gameplay. Red Steel hyped as being really innovative and fun. Turned out to suck.
but you didn't read why. this is the mistake of a nintendo FPS game, turning around and aiming weren't played like other normal FPS games. apparently the gameplay is actualy pretty decent. others say the game lacks in sword combat etc, and it probably does, but most other games don't even have that extra. alot of people like the game, most complainers just hate the movement. edit: also apparently it was a rushed launch title, red steel 2 should be improved. also, what they're doing in some of the FPS games now is adding an option to use dynamic aiming and stuff, so its like normal FPS games. and yes, i've seen video reviews from youtube etc. many people disagree with the reviews its getting, hell, i'd prolly give it a lot rating due to the movement system, but that was their mistake.
