The gamecube was definately not the worst console, it was probably the best. The PS3 and XBOX outshined it because it had an extreme lack of third-party support.

 

But also, the gamecube was mainly based at a younger age group, and not the older. That's what made it worse imo. :/

 

The PS3 IS GOING TO OWN all, i bet you. People who think wrong, then just wait.

i agree. gamecube had some awesome games.

As for "winning" this gen in terms of numbers, I think it'll be pretty even but with Ps3 edging out only because of it's brand name. Wii will be 2nd coz a lot of people will buy it as a 2nd console and non gamers may buy it. Xbox a close third, its got some good features and won't be that far behind in terms of visuals (to ps3) but i think it lacks some great exclusives that separate it from a computer.

I;m leaving this thread because it is infested with total idiots. But yeah, judging from the dumbies here at GR who are sticking with sony just because its sony, PS3 will probably be first. Wii has a chance though.

 

well the xbox 360 is get stronger by the day with microsoft get all the exclusives for the next generation eg fifa 2007 and winning eleven 07

well look how many decent exclusives are coming out for the 360 at the end of this year, then look at PS3s', you just cant compare

Seems like the Nintendo Fan boys are more thorogh because they are actually determined to undermine PS3 and 360 who live strong just because of their names.

 

So you don't care about games? You gonna just look at the damn things.

 

I'm looking forward to all of the consoles, but I'll probably get the Wii first, then the 360, then the PS3. PS3 is just too damn expensive for me right now.

 

ima end up buyin wii first n den ps3 after a price drop! only getting wii for the next super smash bros., twilight prince, and metroid..maybe other games 2 later on...im savin up for a new computer az well!! but definetely gonna end up buyin a ps3!
