See the only problem with buying both is the cost of both the systems at 600$ the ps3 might be priced a bit hight and with the 360 at 400$ just the systems cost alone 1,000$ and then the games the 360s are at 60 per and thats just really high i think so its just safe to wait a year after the releases and then get the best one dont you think?
I'd never buy both systems. I'm having trouble just saving up for a Wii. I can't get a job yet because its friggin impossible to maintain a 3.5 average in advanced algebra. Anyway there really IS no best console. It all depends on what your after. If your going for graphics I'd say the PS3 but if you can't afford it you should settle for the cheaper XBOX 360. If you like gameplay, go for the Wii. I myself am a gameplay guy. As long as the graphics are 3d and the characters are not stick figures its fine with me.
Ok, I going look at the Console this way ~Price war~ ~Xbox 360~ Considering Xbox 360 has a really good price it wins this war.Microsoft is atually losing money for each box it makes.So yah for us Xbox 360 Owners.Premium version is worth I have added the prices of the Xbxo 360 Core version plus all the added stuff in premium and you save,obvliouly. ~PS3~ Much speculation about the price.From what I heard it will be around $700.This makes me uneasy I know it will have Top-Of-The-Line Parts, but is it really worthy it.Then there is the premium version.PS3 Loses in this war. ~Wii~ Also I have heard $170.But they have not excatly said whats in included so its in neutral. where in the world did u hear $170 for the Wii price tag? assuming u are using the US dollar. Its highly unlikely nintendo will go below 200 because the gamecube was 200 on releaes and sucked utterly...If the Wii is to be a redemtion of gamecube it is likely the hardware and such will be much more advanced and much more pricy compared to the GC. Prices should being rising not falling. That and the US dollar is going slightly down in value.
thanx i read the article and it says EA said it not nintendo. So that still means the price is unknown truely. and the report could be refering to the japanese pricing (the USD conversion total) Anyway if it is 170 thats kewl ill still buy it =)

well considering the PS3 and Wii aren't out yet, it is hard to say which will be the best or anything like that. As much as games and specs are great, what i've learned so far with the Xbox 360 is that a glitchy console has the potential to be fatal. RIght now it seems like about 1 in 3 people have had some sort of major issue with their Xbox 360 (ok microsoft says 5%, but thats bull, i think it is more like 30%-40% that have had problems). Now see if the PS3 has glitches, it will be pretty fatal for Sony. Why? well no one will want to pay $600+ for a console that breaks easily.
