Liquifying is old, it was done months ago

To be honest I can't see ANY trends coming, people are either repeating old techniques or just plain experiementing.

Whenever a good looking tag gets shown, everyone wants to copy it, so theres no specific style thats a trend right now. Besides, everything's been done already.

I think we just repeat "trends" in a cycle, until new techniques show up for people to begin trying

Im kind of thinking displace as well...been seeing it show up in some very nice tags lately...the trend also seems to be coming to the point where well known artists styles are the trend...not one certain effect or anything, just following in the footsteps trying to create tags in the same styles as the 'greats'.

    I'd say C4D Wireframes

If not that a mix of fractals with c4d effects.

No new "fantastic" programs or add-ons have came out(none that aren't just variations of others), So you probably won't see any new trends until a new one spawns.
