http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0756683/ Impression When i first sat down to watch this movie I had no expectations whatsoever. I only knew the sketchy plot of the movie was that there was a college professor claiming to be immortal. The beginning was sort of slow and I almost gave up on the movie but luckily i stuck through with it and the movie turned out fantastic! This movie has no cgi, no special effects, and no magic related incidents. It's purely logical and it's so refreshing to see a movie that doesn't depend on the visuals but rather the acting and the storyline to pull it through to the finish. The acting wasn't superb in some scenes but the storyline and the script took it all the way home for me. Overview A college professor by the name of John Oldman is quitting his job and moving on. His friends decided to throw him a surprise goodbye party and at this final meeting John reveals to his friends that he is an immortal that has been wandering the earth for 14,000 years. His friends cannot tell if he is merely joking with them or if he's gone insane. They decided to go along with the, "game," and investigate his radical revelation through a series of questions and tests. Throughout the story John describes his life for the last 14,000 years and some of the things he says shocks his audience to the core. Rating&Comments 8/10 I personally loved this movie due to the fact that I'm a nerd and I love movies that explore the, "what ifs," of life. I personally believe this was one of the best movies of 2007 and its a shame that it wasn't publicized more. If you ever stumble over this hidden treasure, do yourself a favor and watch it .
