Alright, so, the "It Factor" is back in action! I have decided to go back and add onto this tutorial, alongside fixing it up! Enjoy. Basic Borders</span> º1-Pixel 1-Colorº This is the basic one pixeled border. You can use any color, although Black is recomended. It adds a great composition to signatures, brings out the focal points, etc. Grab the Rectangular Marque Tool <img src=\'http://img405.imageshack.us/img405/341/previewmarqueetool5iv.png\' border=\'0\' alt=\'user posted image\' />. Open up a new signature. The size of the sig doesnt matter. Select the whole area of the sig like so: <img src=\'http://img405.imageshack.us/img405/6605/previewborder6ik.png\' border=\'0\' alt=\'user posted image\' />. Go to Edit -> Stroke... Use the following settings: <img src=\'http://img306.imageshack.us/img306/4527/settings1preview5ab.png\' border=\'0\' alt=\'user posted image\' /> There you have it. A one-pixel any color border! Easy? Ofcourse. º3-Pixel Fashionº This is another basic, but very popular border. It uses a 3-pixel width to create a great effect. Open your document. Again, it doesnt matter if its a sig, a document, or what size they are. These borders can be used globaly. Create a new layer above everything. Fill the layer with White. (Edit -> Fill) Set the mode to Darken. Now its time to Stroke the sig. Go to Edit -> Stroke..., and use these settings: <img src=\'http://img510.imageshack.us/img510/6427/settings2preview1ob.png\' border=\'0\' alt=\'user posted image\' /> Now its time to add another stroke. Use these settings: <img src=\'http://img510.imageshack.us/img510/2369/settings3preview4hs.png\' border=\'0\' alt=\'user posted image\' /> And now the final stroke, but with 1 Pixel, and back to Black. Thats it! You should now have something like this (on top of your sig though) <img src=\'http://img437.imageshack.us/img437/9551/borderpreview1ag.png\' border=\'0\' alt=\'user posted image\' /> ºSelected Borderº Oh yes..Its the oh so famous dotted/dashing/selected border! There are a few ways, and I will write out the other way later. Right now, lets use the Print Screen way. (most popular/easiest) Open your document and hit Ctrl+A to create the selection for your border. Press "Print Screen", or "Prt Scr" button on your keyboard. (look to the right..) Next, create a new document again, with the same size as previous. Hit Ctrl+V to paste the previous image ontop of the new one. Select the Rectangular Marquee Tool. Choose a setting you prefer. Set this to the size of your document or graphic. I used a 320x110 size. <img src=\'http://img508.imageshack.us/img508/9527/settings4preview8ws.png\' border=\'0\' alt=\'user posted image\' /> Select the graphic with the Marquee Tool, and go to Image -> Crop. You now have a Selected Border. <span style=\'color:white\'>*Comming Soon: More Effects More Borders Professional Texts Much More

This is mainly for Novice designers. I try to help the needed, not help the ones that dont need to be helped.
Really? You think so? [/b][/quote] hrmm? aren't premium tutorials supposed to be advanced? this is almost just common knowledge of photoshop. Dont really agree with it being the next premium tutorial, but definately helpful to some begginers i bet.
