Just wondering if it will be as good as it says it will. My friend is getting a new comp soon and he wants one of these and wants my advice etc. Im not too sure my self i think that 2 7900 GTX's would be better and give better OCing results. Also it says not sure if on that link or not but this card will be about $800 and 2 7900 GTX's will come to around $1000, if so then their must be something this card cannot be good at since its technically 2 7900 GTX's yet $200 cheaper. Id like you advice on this card and what advice i should give to my friend on this card.
wait? the 7900's are rather good, but the SLI does not benifit you much.. unless you have two or more monitors...
Indeed, i can't believe they are marketing it as a single card when clearly its 2 put together and it still takes 2 slots.
well the theory is that you can use two fo them for quad SLi... IMo though why even bother when a single 7900GT or x1800XT is sufficient
Still though no forceware currently supports quad sli, so it is abit of a waste, when OCing it the standard smaller yes smaller fan will not be able to handle it.
What? First of all, SLI doesn't support dual monitors, second of all, SLI can provide huge performance increases, depending on the game and resolution.
