I figured out what the plants are named:

1. You need 20 Redwort Flowers
2. You need 20 Dragon Tongues

I am still searching... Hey, has anyone completed the last mission of the Gray Fox? Where you have to steal an Elder Scroll? I tried to do it, but got caught by a blind monk, and couldn´t continue the mission. Now I am stuck with it... Can´t continue!!

in star ocean- till the end of time

where can you recharge the ring of Disintegration in the spiral tower?

 

First off, you dont NEED the ring to have charges left to use it to get through the game. Second, I dont believe there is a particular place inside the spiral tower once your in it to recharge it (after all once you have entered the Spiral Tower there is only 2 bosses left, including the final boss). I forgot if your able to leave the tower or not, as I havnt played since I beat 4D Mode a while back. If you can leave, I cant remember where to recharge it, but if you know of where you can recharge it outside the spiral tower, go there. I never bothered recharging it as I dont think ive ever reached no more charges, and I would play it and figure out how to do it if my PS2 hadnt decided to do that BS "disk read error" that most first gen PS2-regulars did (the initial wave of PS2, mine was bought the night it came out).
