Heck yeah, but only when it comes to Instant Messaging and stuff, the 24/7 BIS also keeps you busy but yeah the only thing a BB really is useful for is the organising and chatting capabilities. I use iPhone 3G to do the multimedia stuff like listening to music, watching films etc.. Whilst I would only use my BB Bold more pr0fressionaly.

I never saw the point of watching a movie or listening to music on a phone. A phone, in my mind, is meant for communicating with people. If I want to listen to music I will listen to my ipod or put a record on. If I want to watch a movie I put it in my PS3 and watch in stunning HD on my Sharp Aquos. Small screens and mediocre quality music (yes I know ipod does the same thing but I don't listen to my ipod that often) is just trash in my opinion.

Just like you said, PS3 is meant for gaming not watching films so you're actually suppose to be watching films on your DVD player and not on a gaming console. I have an iPod in my iPhone so why should be bothered to carry an unnecessary item which I already with something that I regularly use. And btw, I do have a PS3 to play game with, a computer to use the Internet on, a 40" Samsung LCD to enjoy BluRay using my BluRay player, so I've got pretty much everything which is specifically designed to suit my needs. Though I still tend to use my iPhone as a Multimedia player, a gadget and a cool toy to play with when you're bored and are at remote places where you can't find other alternatives for your entertainment. I love to use the Blackberry for chatting whilst I'm out of the home and with friends who don't have either Instant Messenger or don't use the PC for some reason.

My use of my electronics are justified for myself and I feel satisfied with all that I have.

The only use for my ps3 these days is to play blurays which was what I was implying by that. I guess I just don't have the spare time away from home (ie bussing or breaks at work or long flights) that would make me need to use a phone for anything but communication.

Well I guess then we've come to an understanding that it's just a matter of opinions and how a person utilises his belongings.
