    Off-topic doesn't have to be just stupid nonsense.

    We have seperate Off-topic and General Discussion forums on most forums I go on. GDF is usually for serious discussion, like current events sort of things, while the OTF is just for general chatting, silliness, showing off things you find on the internet, etc.
