Yah 1.5 was awesome(there still are some places that host 1.5 and i still have it but its hard to find servers for it) but i got CZ because of the better graphics and my friends also got it. Anyways i hate source models of the guns, they look like toys. . . then all the moveable crap is real annoying cause i get bored and just start shooting those.
What do you mean the CSS models look like toys? They may be smaller, but when you compare them to the actual guns they look exactly the same. The M4A1 is not supposte to be 2 feet long, in real life it actually is not that big of a gun.
cs:s is overall the better one imo, all of them r full of cheaters, but with VAC on source, its gettin better. u cant beat the physics engine on source, adds a whole knew dimension to the game. maps r more realistic, and weapon timing, and switch speeds r better, more realistic.
1.6 is better. CSS is more fun because I get more headshots than I do normal kills and I rape servers.
you cant play the real 1.5 no more, they took the won authentication servers down. but i do believe there is a 1.5 steam mod where you play 1.5 but on steam. its not the same tho.
You can play 1.5 on a LAN if you have 1.5 and of course a LAN. i once went to my friends house and they have a wireless LAN so we played 1.5 for like hours. It was amazing how many people actually came. I think in all there were 17 or 18 people(at the end it got really laggy cause it was wireless and all. . .) but it was fun cause all the stuff you can do in there that you cant do in 1.6
I hate source but, not trying to be cocky, its so easy to kill so many people in there. You get headshots like crazy and when i went back to CZ i was terrible, so i just quit playing source because it got so boring(sides i didnt have a server on source either )
