I just disagree with the prevailing attitude. I find the male character (this is definitely fake, btw) almost as reprehensible as the female character. In the first place, he was admittedly using her for sex, leading her on talking about commitment, etc. If she hadn't turned out to be who she was, he could have been doing something very bad to her; there are a lot of women in that age group who are trying in earnest to find partners to have legitimate kids with. If he's wasting what little time she has left leading her on for sex, I find that pretty disgusting. But beyond that, I find this whole "gotcha" mentality about parenthood disturbing. Whether he "owned" her or not, there's a decent chance she's going to have a kid now that she can't provide for, who's going to have a tough life. That's not anyone's fault but the mother's, but it's still not a situation to be scoffed at and ridiculed. If I were that guy (and there are 1,000,000 reasons I'm not) I would have told her as soon as she confronted me about the baby, and tried to make sure that a) it was getting aborted or B) she was turned in to child protective services, so that someone can monitor the situation with her kid. This is a mildly entertaining story, but I think it's important that the people laughing out loud about the level of "owned" realize that in real life this wouldn't be funny at all. It would be a sad tragedy made much worse for no reason by a sleezy man with emotional problems. Moral of the story: Don't be in a relationship just for sex. If you're in a relationship, do so in good faith, and if your girlfriend does get pregnant, try to be a good father. If you do find out the baby "isn't yours," look at the circumstances. If you are being continuously deceived, make sure the child is going to be alright and end the relationship, but if you discover that the baby isn't biologically yours, but the problem in the relationship has been mended, don't ruin your relationship and the baby's future just because of divergent DNA.
Stop sucking the fun. And she was being a bitch, she had sex with another man but blame the guy she's going with who used a condom. I f*cking think she deserves it.
Kind of sad. I prolly would have been a little nicer about it though. I mean you kind of crushed her.
man, i swear, judging by comments, youd think a lot of posters here have never even dated a girl for any length of time. just because youre sleeping with a girl doesnt mean youre forced to commit to anything. just because she wants to? no thanks. the second you hook up with a girl, do you go out with her immediately? he said it was a casual relationship...theyd been seeing each other for about 4 months. any girl who wants to talk about committment in the context shes talking about after only 4 months is a ----ing lunatic, baby or not. it takes time to know people. This is definetly 100% fake.
