Have you guys heard about this?

I can't believe they want to get the actual definition changed! Do any of you guys have a job in the service sector, or a McJob; and do you find the term insulting or derogatory?

A "McJob"? Hmmm.. I already know what all the guy teens on this site are already thinking.

Man 1: Hey man, did you get that McJob yet?
Man 2: Yea, Linda finally did it

Yea.. Another kinky name, just like the "Wii", whats the world coming to?

Haha yeah, my thoughts exactly when I first heard the term! :P

EDIT - Oh yeah, only exception, it was Rosie who finally did it; not Linda :)

    Mc·Job /[muhk-job]
    –noun
an unstimulating, low-wage job with few benefits, esp. in a service industry.

[Origin: 1991, Americanism; coined by Douglas Coupland (b. 1961) in the novel Generation X]

(Straight from the dictionary  )
