The Battle For Middle-earth 1

This is the best RTS game ever in my opinion. True LOTR fans should not miss out on playing this.

BfME 2 and RotWK are ---- compared to BfME 1 and it's unique gameplay.

 

So your saying a game thats the first is better then a game that came AFTER it?

I have all the games and the Expansion is the best by far.

 

What the diff between say this an Warcraft? Besides being LOTR related or whatever.

 

Agreed , BFME I is so much better than BFME II and ROTWK

 

I never played Warcraft but BfME 1 gameplay is unique. Fixed building spots, might sound stupid but you will notice that it's brilliant. I think it's the first game which has Leadership Bonus attached to it.

Anyway, BfME 2 and RotWK were a huge dissapointment for most BfME 1 players because they completely screwed up the unique gameplay and turned it all into 5 min game rushing.

 

I MUCH prefer the second one The first is great, and does have unique gameplay yeah. But it irritates me because I am one of those folk that like to build huge inpeneterable bases..

You should see this base I have build in a RotWK skirmish. I own that map
