I have PS CS and there's something wrong with my text....and I dunno how to fix it, whenever I type the letters are too close together vertically so they always overlap (see picture) I havnt edited anything with the settings, it just started happening and it's really annoying in making tutorials :/

make sure your resolution is at 72 on your picture, also, raise the number below 'regular'

    that should help..

my resolution is at 72, but when I raise the number below regular, I have to constantly change it when I change the text size. If I set the number under regular to "10" and have a size 12 font, it's fine, but with a size 20+ it starts to overlap again.

can anyone tell me the default numbers to the character and paragraph pallete?

Ahh... try another font? Just a wild guess I suppose but, it has happened to me before. Then, I just chose another font and then it started doing alright. *SHRUGS*
