Text In Signatures

I'm a great lover of artwork. That's why I frequent gamerenders. Alot of great learning potential as far as computer graphics are concerned. Alot of wonderful people willing to help, and give really good criticism. But I have one major problem, that keeps me from giving positive feedback on other people's signatures....(occasionally).

Text that usually has absolutely nothing to do with the signature or piece of art......

I notice alot of people place text in a signature just for the sake of filling an empty void. Usually text that makes you wonder..."what was this person thinking of when they created this?".

I've always been one to believe that if you create a tag, and throw random text in there...you have a wonderful piece of work, marred by jibberish. I myself try to think of something that affects me when I start to work on something. Create my quote in my head, and try to work around it. Creating something with feeling, instead of something good looking just to make people go "WOW!!! Nice picture!!!". LOL.

I'm not trying to step on toes, so please don't take offense. I was just wondering if anyone else thought the same as I do?

If I cant think of something what would fit in the text (so it has something to do with the sig, and it looks good) then I'dd only put in my own name, or sometimes even nothing, but I agree that it can be pretty annoying

I think text can be really good or really bad. im not super great with it, but i wont put any in if it doesnt look good. nobody rips here, so theres really no reason to put text unless it adds to the sig.
