    Okay, i'm gonna be very critical on this one. I hope you won't see it as disrespect or as an attack on your render, but only as advice for you next one.

    First off all. this picture is quite difficult to do, and it is quite useable. You did a good job on finding it.

    About the cutting:
    Some things are cutted really nice, like the "branches" on the girls staff, the crossbow, and the girl itselve. But you left an outline at some spots too, (around the hammer, also around some parts of the crossbow). The hair is ugly like this. There are very much parts of the hair that you just skipped, because it was too difficult for you or because you didn't want it to do. The lightening you added in your second render looks really nice, but it doesn't match the original. the lightening you created is too "round" to be lightening. It's more like energy-waves or something.
    The bottom of the render is very blurry, but i think that would be better than straight edges. You missed a spot near the feathers on the girl's stick, and the chains that connects the feathers to the stick aren't cutted out aswell.

    I know that i split hairs, but i'm only giving you advice to improve this render. It would be great if you tried to improve those things i pointed out. You'll also learn from that.
