    Haha, and they've been watching it for a little under a year. Why did they just barely do something about it?

    Allows them to arrest and get rid of even more terrorist. As the people they are watching are contacted, or go out and contact other people - the government has an expanding list of targets to look at for to collect even more data in future years.

    Because maybe, instead of picking up a small, local guy, they can get one of the bigger guys by watching what the smaller guys are doing and who they're talking to.

    there will be more terrorist attacks.... its impossible to stop them all. altho the feds have busted up a lot of "attempts" there will come a time when they cant stop them all.

    Not all Middle Easterns are terrorists, and not all terrorists are Middle Eastern. Terrorism is an act of instilling terror in people. It is nothing more or less than that. As long as people are terrified of something, there will always be terrorism.

    Yes, I know I kick ass, and I totally pwn.

    Well of course not all people living in the middle esat are terrorists. But all terrorist seem to come from the middle east. Better their people die then ours. It's war.

    The terrorists that attacked England didn't.

    Also the people arrested were, 2 Guyana's, one Trinidadian and one US citizen.

    So they should die, because they happen to live in the Middle East?
    All terrorists do not seem to come from the Middle East. Look at ireland, plenty of terrorists there, look at Israelis.

    (Israel is in the Middle East by most people's standards, Arab or not.)

    Not every terrorist is Middle Eastern or Muslim. Terrorism has been around for ages. You could consider the German SS terrorists, since they attacked civilian populations for the sole purpose of instilling fear into the people under their occupation. In the days before Israeli statehood, quite a few Israelis attacked civilian targets for, again, fear. The IRA and the like groups in Northern Ireland do/did the same.

    That said, quite a bit has come from the Middle East in recent days. Iranian-trained/equipped Hezbollah, al-Qaeda out of Saudi Arabia, Islamic Jihad out of Egypt, Hamas's militant wing, all sorts of groups. Does that mean the average Middle Easterner is a terrorist? Certainly not.
