What is the news in other countries saying?

Here in australia, its still only saying 2. I find that hard to believe considering the enormity and suddeness of the attacks.

By the way, the news is showing this video camera footage of the bus that exploded, its majorly banged up T_T.

Also, does anyone know where exactly the G8 meeting is being held?

    zomg.
"Oh I see a geeky one here. tongue.gif
    going to preston? lmao."

That wasnt funny one bit at. Your the only one who laughed. And you said you were staying out of this thread.

So al qaeda is behind this...does anyone have any more news links? I'm just a bit concerned, because i have distant family in england somewhere, so yeah...

Here in the states (at least in California, Bay Area). The news here is saying they have reports of 20 deaths, and 160 seriously injured. Their also stepping up security for public transportation here in the bay area, as well as washington and new york as precautionary methods.

The G8 summit was taking place in Scotland as well for those wondering.

down here it only says a 'significant number' so im guessing ots more than 2, besides we have to remember the number of wounded people who might die befoore the day is over :(

Blair is leaving the summit as we speak. I'm watching live coverage of him leaving in a military copter to head back to London. Their also expecting the death toll to climb immensely because of over 100 people being very severly injured. Also they have search and rescue teams going into the tunnels to check for people who may still be alive.

Im her ein the uk watching the news, and they keep changing the verdicts the death toll is low for a bombing attack, but keeps increasing.

those who have taken this unseriously, i have -repped, for basically agreeing with the attacks, and not caring about those killed.

the people who have died would be mothers, fathers, brother, sister and children. So those 20+dead are no doubt loved by many, and those who show no compasion and find it funny or soemthing i will prbably -rep, well forget that i will -m repp them, who cares if i get -reppe din return and loose all of mine, it's worth it.
