Template I'm Working On

The first template I actually did completely by myself ^^

Template pic

Making it into a sort off 'portal' template.
Should basically cover:

On the left
Menu
Place to login
Statistics

Middle
Welcome message
Main content (news updates, ....)

On the right
Affiliates going down the content

what do you all think of it so far?

Update
Added some content bars to make it look more detailed. Still gonna need a lot of work though imo

All done, on to the coding now

 

I've updated the topic head, added some content bars to add some detail to the whole thing.

 

It's nice, but would probably look better with some gloss added.

 

i don't like the banner, but everything else looks pretty sweet. it flows well, and i like the colors ^_^

 

ITs okay, too plain though and again impossible to code without iframes when my eyes are right,

 

What's wron with using Iframes

 

They are ugly and very out of date.

 

So this is not do-able with simple slicing and coding?
(yes, I'm a noob in coding and stuff)

 

Not expandable no, youd have to take the gradients in the content box away or take the marquee tool and create boxes within the boxes wich are a static color

 

Ah yes, I get it.

So you think I should make the box a solid color, to make it easier on the coding?

 

Verry nice. Although gradients on content boxes will make it un-expandable so it will stay that size Very nice for your first individual one.

Actually you could still use the gradient and have it expandable. SP, talk to me when you can and ill show you how
