Its what the cool kids do to look cooler. The extremly popular people at my school smoke. So I don't hang out with them.

i see 11 year olds, 13 year olds you name it... dont like the fact they are taking years off theyre life like that. i think its the governments way of controlling population lol.
Smoking is bad, that won't change the fact that people smoke. I know a few people who smoke at my school. I doubt things will ever change.
Smoking is bad and disgusting yes but the fact that it is banned is why people try it and peer pressure ^_^ (i dont smoke)

Pot or cigs? I've smoked pot, yes..but I've done it maybe 4 times in the past year. I'm responsible, and it doesn't hurt my athletic ability (I run track and play football and am fine). Funny thing is most "rejects" at our school smoke cigs, whereas more known people (not trying to sound like I have an ego, but I would put myself in that group) just like to drink and once in awhile smoke pot while having a good time. It only becomes a problem when you have no self control and screw yourself over.
I've seen lots of people at stupidly young ages smoking, its one of the saddest things about our culture that people equate smoking = cool (probably because they are told its bad and not to do it). The legislation in the UK is going the right way to start banning smoking, it wouldnt be so bad if it was contained to the person smoking but everyone has to suffer. I wont lose any sleep if smoking is banned outright.

Meh, don't understand why anyone would go and do that to their bodies, slowly killing it just to temporarily feel good. Teenagers only do it to be cool, even though where I'm at no one smokes cigs anymore only pot. It's their choice though, they can do whatever they want
