So yeah. My 360 is awesome and all, but I can barely play TF2. Is there any sort of patch or anything to fix the lag?

how do you have your 360 connected to the internet?

I don't know what is wrong with Xbox live, but every time I play using a wireless connection I always lag, so try plugging it in directly into your modem (if you can).

If you are directly plugged into your modem/router, what kind of internet connection you have? If you have Dial-up, theres your problem...if you have T4, then its Xbox Live.

It could be a bunch of different things...could be you, could be Microsoft, could be people using modem lag, could be that there are too many people in a game, etc.

source isn't that demanding of an engine so it's likely to be internet side. chances are XBL/valve has ----ty servers

i'm pretty sure something is up with valve/live. its definitely not me. im directly hooked up to my super-fast broadband. like xlink said, source isnt complicated. TF2 in particular is very simple.

it's weird because if i find a server with a great connection and no more than 10 people, its fine, but any more people and its crap. valve needs to learn how to do console multiplayer.
