so i would like to make sure that he is challenging me to make a new sig, as opposed to challenging a sig that i very recently posted.

that would be pretty stupid considering how desperate you are for members.

Nice, I'll add it to the first post. It's significantly better than the one in your signature.

The up side
--
- Personally, I'm a big transformers fan.
- Good font choice
- Little Filtering

The down side
--
- VERY poor image quality. Lots of artifacts, shifted coloring, and image is lossy.
- Color pallet is unclear. No use of contrast. Highlights are blown out
- Not sure what the big orange faded splotch is... you get a stain on your sig?
- Type placement is very off-putting. Kerning needs work, and I don't like that you didn't treat the text at all.

All in all... 4/10

- Great layout and composition
- Colors came out great
- Subtle border is nice
- I do like the type treatment and font choice


The down side
--
- I see some artifacts around the edges...not a very clean cut-out
- Text placements could be better. Not very legible where it is now.
- The image as a whole is slightly over-filtered (too many effects used)

Over all, I'd say 6/10

lol while I don't care that I lost, that has to be the most ridiculously WRONG critique of both sigs I've ever read.

 

If you don't want clashes opinion then why do i see you posting in his thread asking for his opinion? Because i completety agree with clashes wording, i think that your piece is well put together but you need to blend the text better.
